Just a few pics of Scootie in his last year of life! This is last Easter with Scootie! He was well and happy to just be out sniffin' around! I had Scooter since I was in high school and he has been a good dog, frustrating a lot of times too, but still loved by the family! I got Scoot back in I think 1998 or so, and he has lived a great life!
Good old times with him out on the desert, he loved digging little holes and trying to find something out of them. He liked to play with the other animals in the family and especially Kitty! He loved chasing her around and she liked it too!
Scooter will be missed. I am glad he was my dog!

I'm so sorry! I know he was old, and you were probably prepared for it, but it is still really hard to say goodbye. I had another good cry over my kitties the other day - and they have both been gone quite awhile now.
It's worth the pain though, when you measure it against all the joy they bring for years and years.
I'm so glad you brought him to your photo shoot! He is one handsome devil in that shot. It cracks me up that he is looking right into the camera! So poised and debonair, that one ;)
