Slip-N-Slide Fun!!!
Just having a little fun in the hot,

A day out with the girlies!!
We went out yesterday to get
a hair-do and painted fingernails!
hair and Savannah's hair, as
well as painting their nails!
put in her hair
and her wonderful CHEESE!!...
in the hand-held mirror.
Then the two of them together!!
Adventures of Bandaids!!!
If you haven't heard already, Tejia is terrified of band aids, I don't know why, but she is and it baffles me. These are some pictures of her after I had just put a band aid on her knee. 
I had to sneak it onto her knee, when she was putting her shirt on, and her eyes were covered up so she wouldn't see me do it. I had the band aid all ready to stick on, so I did it, and this was the result.
Tejia screamed at me and covered up her knee and screamed some more, then LIMPED away into the bathroom, as if she had a sprained ankle or something, where she didn't want me to touch her, boy was she mad at me, does that make me a bad mom?? Hope not, just trying to help:)
I couldn't help but grab the camera and hope to get a good picture of this sad, sad little face.
Then, she realized I was taking pictures of her and wanted to see them, so I showed her, and she was happy after that!!! YAY!
But, sad to say, she still does NOT like band aids. I even tried the spray on kind like you mentioned, Natalie, but that was a no-go for me, not even the cute little kid band aids with the cartoons on them, nope. I Just have to sneak them on her when she is asleep, but getting them off, is another story.

Pony Express Days!!
Here are some pics of the carnival at the Pony Express Days. We all hopped on the scooter to head over to the carnival, which was great, because there were no parking spaces, big enough for a normal vehicle, but there was for our scooter, yeahhhh!! Anyway, Tej and Brant went on a ride in the strawberries, Brant got slightly dizzy and light headed from them, but Tej had a blast, hahaha, then she tried to win a gold fish, but had no luck with the ping-pong balls getting into, in my opinion (too small) holes in the fishbowls. And for the last adventure, Brant had to go on the big jungle gym and slide with Tej, because she tried by herself at first, then got lost inside and didn't know where to go, so dad had to help her out! and there they are crossing the bridge and then Tejia coming down the big slide!!!
We would have gone on more rides, had we bought the all day pass, but we didn't because one) we didn't have that much cash on us, and two) because there weren't that many rides that would have made us WANT to buy an all-day pass! so oh well, we had fun!!!

Parade pictures
Well, since it was just me and tej at the pony express days parade, these are the kind of pictures I got out of it!! they turned out okay I guess! Tejia wanted to keep taking more and more pics, she just thought it was lots of fun, (taking pics) she enjoyed that more than the parade itself. She got a bit scared of the gun solutes that were shot off, then she got scared again of the Kid- to -Kid float with the disney mascots on it, you know, Whinnie the pooh, mickey, and minny, even Sponge Bob, and was also scared of Smokey the bear and the Salt Lake Bees mascot. In short, she was scared of almost everthing in the parade, except for the princesses, a.k.a., the eagle mountain royalty, along with the other surrounding city royalties. She did like the candy and tooth brushes that were thrown to her as well!!
I don't think she is quite ready for Disneyland yet!! Dang it, maybe next year!!
